🧬 What is FOXP3?
FOXP3 is the master transcription factor — sometimes called the “master gene” — that controls the development and function of regulatory T cells (Tregs). These are the immune cells responsible for teaching your immune system not to attack your own tissue. When FOXP3 signaling is disrupted, Treg function breaks down, and your immune system loses its ability to distinguish self from threat.

65 Days to Support Restoring
Immune Regulation
The five phases follow a specific biological sequence that cannot be rearranged without compromising the outcome. The minimum program duration is 65 days — with Phase 5 continuing as a lifelong maintenance approach.

Immune tolerance restoration follows a biological sequence. Think of it like construction: the roof can’t go up before the walls, and the walls can’t go up before the foundation. Each phase creates the conditions the next phase requires.
Laying the Metabolic Foundation
Phase 1 is a single transition day — brief by design, but biologically important. It introduces the Core 5 supplements and begins shifting your metabolic state before the rigorous demands of Phase 2. Patients who skip Phase 1 consistently experience more hunger, greater fatigue, and stronger cravings in the early days of Phase 2.

Where Immune Re-Education Begins
Phase 2 is the core of the protocol — and the most demanding. For 40 days, participants follow a precision nutrition program designed to maintain therapeutic ketosis, restrict calories to 800–1,000 per day, and consume only from their personalized FoodPharmacy Intelligence™ food lists, which are calibrated to support all of their specific conditions simultaneously.
The metabolic signals created during this phase — caloric restriction, ketone elevation, AMPK activation — are precisely the conditions that support FOXP3 expression and Treg proliferation. The sequence must be sustained for the full 40 days; stopping early produces incomplete results even if you are feeling better. Feeling better means inflammation is calming. Immune tolerance requires the full duration.

Note for practitioners: Patients commonly ask if they can extend Phase 2 if seeing strong results. The answer is no — extending beyond 40 days carries metabolic risks and is unnecessary if the protocol is followed correctly.
Testing Autonomous Regulation
Phase 3 asks a single, critical question: can your immune system maintain FOXP3 stability and Treg function independently, without external amino acid support from the Formula supplement?
Formula is discontinued for exactly three days while everything else — the caloric restriction, the ketosis, the personalized foods, the remaining Core 5 supplements — continues unchanged. Think of it as removing the training wheels. If your immune system has achieved autonomous regulation, nothing changes. If it hasn’t, a brief correction protocol restores the necessary conditions.

After 44 days of strict metabolic protocol, Phase 4 begins the transition to a sustainable lifestyle. Calories increase. Dietary fats are reintroduced. The metabolic state is maintained but no longer as restrictively. This phase rebuilds your body’s capacity to function at higher caloric levels while preserving the immune regulation you have worked to create.
